Location:
The War Memorial is in Memorial Park, Church Lane, Great Harwood
The land for the park was given to the council by James Boardman, William Pickup and Henry Milton Thompson in 1920. Later it was decided it would be a suitable location for the War Memorial.

Date: The memorial was unveiled on 2nd October 1926 by Major General Sir Neil Malcolm, K.C.B., D.S.O., and Mrs. Ormerod of Great Harwood who had lost three sons in the war.
