THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
The memorial which was in the school hall was unveiled by Harold Peel. At some stage it was removed and put into storage but in 1988 was discovered and placed outside the school office.
The above photo is from a postcard in my collection and has the photographer "Watsons, Accrington" embossed at the bottom, it dates from before the Second World War as four further names were added afterwards and these do not appear on the photo (if anyone can give me the names I will add them to this page).
