There are two plaques commemorating those who gave their lives in both World Wars in the gateway to St Anne's Church in Fence.
Location: The church is on Wheatley Lane Road, Fence, near the Fencegate Inn.

The same names also appear on the memorial in Wheatley Lane which is at the junction of Cuckstool Lane and Wheatley Lane Road.
